Research misconduct and editing

“研究违规”在医学论文发表中已成了棘手问题,但定义仍下明确,处理更是乏力。过去20多年研究表明,研究人员必须具备这方面知识,才能确保科学的真实性;为此,要对研究人员进行科研真实性、科研道德的教育,包括科研方法、科研数据收集、分析、作者署名、论文发表等等。其中,编辑将发挥其特有的作用。另外,要有专门机构来处理“研究违规”。

Research misconduct in biomedicine is alive and well, and apparently flourishing. Despite increasing publicity during the past 20 years, its magnitude is unknown and its detection largely serendipitous. Terms such as research misconduct, scientific misconduct, scientific integrity should lie defined specifically. A national committee on publication ethics consisting of editors, information scientists, lawyers or others scholars is necessary to judge authoritatively difficult cases in addition to education of researchers on the key components of the contemporary research process including supervision and training of researchers; the scientific method; research data including gathering, storage, authorship, and methods of publication.
