Joining WTO and Agricultural Revolution in China

中国加入WTO ,标志着中国已经摆脱了闭关锁国和自给自足状态 ,真正加入了国际分工与协作 ,融入了世界经济体系。这一历史性巨变 ,将对中国农业产生一系列革命性影响 ,即引发中国农业规模及经营革命 ,进而引发中国农村土地制度革命。而要实现上述革命 ,首先必须来一个理论观念的大革命 ,摒弃“自给自足”型的“农业基础论” ,真正使中国农业从“政治约束”及“政府管制”转变为“市场导向” ,使农产品由“政治附属品”变为实实在在的“商品”。

The accession of China to WTO indicates that the country has cast off the state of 'closing the communications at the borders' and self-sufficiency,that the country has really joined the international division of labor and co-operation,and that China has blended into the system of the world economy. The great historic change will affect China's agriculture revolutionarily. That is to say, it will cause an agricultural revolution both in its scale and in its management. Furthermore,it will contribute to the revolution in the system of cultivated land.In order to realize the above revolution,a revolution in theory and ideology must precede,namely,discarding the theory of agriculture base which is the selfsufficient type.Chinese agriculture must really be changed from 'politics controlling' and 'government management' to 'market guidance'. The agriculture products must be changed from political appendages to reall commodities.
