The reason of many major accidents which caned the destruction of underground gas pipeline, personal casualties, and the stop of gas supply in Harbin is summarized. It is suggested that we must attach importance to surveying of underground gas pipelin, especially final survey,and establish the administrative information base of underground gas pipeline, strengthen management measure, ensure safety in production. The enforcement method and main technique of above-mentioned suggestion are introduced in the paper.
