Water resources and water-saving irrigation in Shaanxi Province

陕西水资源贫乏 ,降雨在时空上分布不均 ,加之水污染严重 ,旱灾已成为制约农业和社会、经济发展的主要因素。在陕西省特别是关中地区发展节水灌溉是缓解水资源供需矛盾 ,实现全省农业和社会经济可持续发展的必然选择。立足陕西水资源实际 ,发展节水灌溉的对策和措施是提高认识 ,因地制宜 ,搞好规划 ,增加投入 ,加强项目管理 。

Drought has been becoming the main bottleneck to develop agriculture, society and economy of Shaanxi province because of extreme shortage of water resources, unbalanced distribution of precipitation in season and region, serious pollution of water, etc. So developing water saving irrigation is the principal selection to equalize water supply and demand and sustainable progress of agriculture, society and economy. Strategy and measures for resolving the problems are to heighten consciousness, make proper plan, increase investment, enhance project management and perfect service system of water saving irrigation according to local concrete conditions.
