On Chen Yun's Concept of Appropriation

陈云同志是我国社会主义经济建设的开创者和奠基人，他率先提出了适度现，即经济发展的速度、经济体制改革的力度和人民生活改善的幅度三者要适度。适度观充分体现了陈云同志的唯实性、探索性、辩证性、政治性的思想。这对当今正确处理改革、发展与稳定的相互关系，正确把握社会主义初级阶段的历史进程，实现可持续发展战略，均具有重要的现实指导意义。

Chen Yun was the pioneer and founder of sociallst economy in China. He was the first to express the concept of appropriation. He statal tha the speed of econdric developmen should be appropriate, the hae to which economic systemis reformed should be appropriate, and the extent to which people's lifeis improved should be appropriate. His concept of appropriation reflects his realistic, exploratory, dialectical and aptical way of thinking. His concept is of gnat siedcane to us teday. It shows us how to correctly deal with the relationship between reform, developmnt and stability, and how to correcily conrol the historical process at the eary stageof aseiallsm so as to sustain economic development.
