元杂剧四期论

ON THE FOUR STAGES OF THE MISCELLANEOUS DRAMA IN THE YUAN DYNASTY

元杂剧发轫于金元之际 ,历时百年之多 ,其创作始于关汉卿等人。研究元杂剧的分期问题 ,对进一步明晰元杂剧发展的历史 ,深入了解各时期中的作家作品情况有重要意义。笔者以元明人著作所记为据 ,从杂剧家的生平与创作入手 ,结合各时期中杂剧作品内容、风格的不同情况 ,论述了元杂剧应分为四期这一问题。

The Yuan miscellaneous drama dates back to the time between the Yuan and the Jin dynasties, and continued for more one hundred years. The first plays were written by GUAN Han qing and other dramatists. The study of the stages is of great significance both to the study of the history of its development and to the profound understanding of the dramatists and their works at different stages. This study, on the basis of the records in the works written by authors in the Ming dynasty, starts with the life and works of the dramatists, goes on to discuss the contents and different styles and finally comes the conclusion that the development of the Yuan Miscellaneous drama went through four periods.
