汉语的对顶格与英语的矛盾修饰法

A Comparison Between the Two Rhetoric Devices, Duiding in Chinese and Oxymoron in English

英语和汉语分属印欧语系和汉藏语系 ,二者在多方面存在差异。从修辞格的角度 ,就汉语的对顶格与英语的矛盾修饰法在概念内涵与结构组成方面的差异进行比较 ,探讨二者概念的交叉与构成规律 。

Chinese and English belong to Han Tibetan language family and Indo European languages respectively, so there are many differences between the two languages. From the perspective of rhetoric, this paper made a comparison between Dui Ding (figure of speech in Chinese) and oxymoron (figure of speech in English) in terms of their conceptual scope and construction pattern. The comparison may help the language learners know the two rhetoric devices better.
