摘要
Sperber和Wilson从认知角度对语言交际进行了探讨 ,提出了非常有影响的关联理论 ,关联理论认为语言交际是一个认知过程 ,关联是认知的基础。结合语言教学中遇到的言语实例分析了促成关联的两个因素 ,揭示了关联理论框架对英语学习的指导意义。
D. Sperber & D. Wilson have proposed Relevance Theory in Relevance: Communication and Cognition (1986/1995). In Relevance Theory, communication is the process of cognition , while relevance is the basis of cognition . The passage elaborates and proves two reasons for resulting in relevance with the samples in language teaching. It also reveals the guiding significance of Relevance Theory in English learning.
