亲属称谓一直是翻译中的一个难点。因为不同的亲属称谓体现了不同国家、不同民族、不同文化的差异。只有搞清楚中国与英美国之间存在的文化差异和汉英亲属称谓的特点,我们才能够正确地选择和使用亲属称谓,进而提高我们翻译的质量。
