Reflections over Some of the Problems Concerning the Theory and Practice of Scientific Socialism

科学社会主义与空想社会主义的区别在于前者揭示历史发展规律,而不是对未来社会的描绘;科学社会主义是发展的理论,是进一步研究的出发点和方法,而不是教条;马克思主义的生命力在于同社会实践的结合,不应以个别论断来评判现实生活。在当前社会主义实践中,社会发展阶段、市场经济、执政党的建设和民主政治、认识当代资本主义等问题是重大的理论与实践问题。

The difference between scientific socialism and conceit socialism is that the former exposes the law of historical development, instead of the description of future society. Scientific socialism is the theory which is developing. It is a method and a starting point for further studying rather than doctrine. The vitality of Marxism lies in its combination with social practice. The reality should not be judged by certain theory from Marxism. At present in socialist practice, the questions of the stages of socialist development, marketing economy, building of the party in power and democratic politics, view on present capitalism are that how to apply the important theory into practice.
