浅谈瑞士在二战中避免被德国入侵的原因

Discussion on the Reasons that Prevent the Germany from Invading Switzerland

第二次世界大战期间,德国军队横扫周边七个国家,惟独瑞士安然无恙。这是个令人深思的问题。文章认为,关于这个问题的原因有4个。第一,瑞士是一个中立国;第二,瑞士政府筹划建立一个一旦德国入侵就能付诸实施的全面的战时经济;第三,瑞士居民以日耳曼人为主,希特勒对自己同胞不忍兵戎相加。第四,瑞士的强大军事实力令德国不敢轻视。尤其是二战开始后,德军四面出击导致腹背受敌,无力重开战火。希特勒权衡利弊,最终放弃了入侵瑞士的计划。

Army of Germany had defeated seven countries around during the Second World War. But as the neighbor of Germany, the Switzerland was the only country who kept safe and sound. This is a question which make one deep in thought. The article insists that there are four reasons . Firstly, Switzerland was a neutral state. Secondly, The government of Switzerland would plan to build all-round war-time economy after the invasion of German. Thirdly, most residents of Switzerland and German are the same race. Hitler could not bear to declare war upon his compatriots. Finally, Switzerland had strong military power that Germany could not despise him. Especially after the beginning of the Second World War, army of Germany hit out in all directions ,which led to be exposed to enemy attack on all sides. So the Germany had no ability to restart another new war. Hitler weighed the advantages and disadvantages and gave up the plan of invasion the Switzerland finally.
