《凡》文用自陈式语言对三种不同生存状态下的知识女性进行心理透视,坦陈对生活、生存、生命的体验,体现出真正独立女性的非功利性和个体自由原则,以及对独立主体之间的理解和情谊的渴望,并对现代人类的生存状态和困境作了深刻的理性透视。

All Walls Are Doors makes a psychological analysis of female intellectuals in three different kinds of living states by using self-narrative language, revealing their experiences of living, existence and life itself and presenting the dislike of material gains and the principle of individual freedom of true independent females. Also revealed in the novel are the understanding between independent subjects and the desire for friendship. The novel probes deeply into the living states of modern people and their dilemmas.
