摘要 Native ruthenium and platinum-bearing hedleyite were recognised in two gold deposits contained inArchaean metamorphic rocks in northern China. They are coexistent with native gold, quartz andpyrite. The high W content of native ruthenium may reflect the precipitation of ores in a W-richhydrothermal system at moderate to high temperatures. The presence of plahnum-group ndner-als (PGM ) in the two deposits suggests that Au and PGE were both derived from mantlosourcerocks.
