This paper makes an analysis of the description of the lifestyle, customs in the novels by Li Jieren, Zhou Keqin and the later generation of Sichuan writers, reveals the strong flavor of Sichuan and the aesthetic connotation of these novels, and discusses the difficulties and trends of the regional and cultural fiction of Sichuan by making a comparison between the two generations of writers.
