拜上帝教:中西文化畸形结合的产物

拜上帝教是近代中西文化结合的先驱 ,但却带有严重的畸形性。突出表现为在拜上帝教中 ,中西文化的结合极为混杂 ;其结合在很大程度上既对基督教有依赖性而又扭曲了基督教的宗教精神 ,既对中国传统文化有继承性而又窒息了中国传统文化的人文精神 ;拜上帝教对中西文化结合采取的是极为功利主义的态度 。

The Bai Shang Di Jiao was an early result of combining Chinese culture with Western culture in modern China,but to a great extent,this combination was abnormal.In the Bai Shang Di Jiao,the combination of Chinese culture with Western culture was very confused.This combination was dependent on the Christianity,but distorted in its religious spirit.It carried on the traditional culture of China,but stifled its humanistic spirit.It was extremely utilitarian,submitting the culture to the needes of reality and private interestes.
