摘要
20世纪 6 0年代以来 ,英国加快了高等教育大众化步伐 ,高等教育数量迅速发展 ;与此同时 ,为了保证英国高等教育的质量声誉 ,英国又采取一系列措施加强对高等教育的质量监控。
Since the 1960s, a great number of new universities have been established and grown as a result of the UK government's policy of speeding the development of higher education to meet the needs of the masses. Meanwhile, the UK educational authorities have taken measures to supervise the quality of higher education to safeguard its reputation throughout the world.
