In China,the investment in population quality and its decision are closely related with families.This paper points out that the theory of Children quality.quantity substitution and the theory of family should be introduced into family education investment.The theoretical basis,the cost of education investment,the analysis of the returns,the social comparison of investment returns and the social influence should be stressed.
