The paper starts with the introduction of the development prospect of modern distance and open education, analyses the current status of experiment teaching of science and engineering courses under the mode of distance and open education, puts forward the implementation methods of experiment teaching of science and engineering courses under the mode of distance and open education and makes some researches into the problems of experiment teaching materials for creative courses, experiment teacher's training and the conduction of experiment teaching evaluation.
