The recent admission of China into the WTO (World Trade Organization) further increases the interest on international trade, especially on the benefits and impact of trade. It is not the primary objective of this paper to discuss the benefits and effects of trade or WTO membership as such. Rather, the focus is on how the growth of a country (either China or any other country) may increase the benefits of its trading partners. In particular, which countries/regions will benefit more from the growth of China?
