Primary filling sand control techniques under isolated high pressure state has a long period of sand control, simple operation, short operating cycle and little damage on pay zones, meanwhile, it can avoid the disadvantages of second filling sand. Applications in the Turzhebie oil formations in Turkmenistan show that this technique has good filling effectiveness and performs a certain elimination of plugging. Its economic benefit is remarkable and deserves to be widely used.
