To make BOQ (Bill of Quantity)reasonable is a key measure to approach the goal of preceding cost control effectively. In this paper, through analysis on some problems discovered from the BOQ of some bids, such points will be stated,i.e.,influence on preceding cost control made by BOQ,and the key to make BOQ reasonable is to make full consideration of the real conditions of the project and the conditions of contract of the bid besides consideration of conventional style,for the convenience of quality control and measurement.
