On Features of Density and Ingredient as Well as Trend of the Deposit and the Spread of the Sediment from Pearl River into the Sea

分析了珠江入海泥沙浓度的时空分布及成分特性,探讨了3种动力因素作用下泥沙搬运、沉积、扩散的范围和去向,指出河口海区是珠江入海泥沙沉积的良好环境,雷东环流地区为其向西南扩散、沉积的终极场所。

The thesis has analysed the space-time distribution of the density and theingredient features of the Pearl River silt flowing into the sea. The scope andthe trend of the transport of the silt, the deposit of the silt, and the spread ofthe silt as well has been discussed here under three dynamic mechanisms. Hence,we may point out that the sea area around the river mouth is a favourableenvironment for the deposit of the sediment from Pearl River into the sea, andthat the circulatory area in the eastern part of Leizhou Peninsula is theultimate place where the sediment from the Pearl River spreads and depositssouthwest-wards.
