摘要
该文介绍了共享虚拟环境的概念和现状。提出了一种基于Java和VRML的共享虚拟环境的C/S架构。它使用通用的浏览器,具有很好的平台独立性和可扩展性。同时采用遵循H-Anim1.0人物建模标准来定义化身,具有好的通用性和可定制性。为了实现在Internet环境下的实时性,对传输某些经常变动的信息时在客户端采用了预测算法。实践证明,该系统在Internet环境下可以实现较好的效果。
The concept and contemporary state of shared virtual reality is simply introduced.A C/S framework for shared virtual reality based on Java and VRML is proposed.It requires only general web navigator and has excellent platform-independency and scalability.Meanwhile it defines avaters according to H-Anim1.0humanoid modelling stan-dard,so it is very general and can be customized conveniently.In order to get good realtime feature,dead-reckoning al-gorithm is used in client side to reduce packet traffic.Practice proves that the system has a good performance in large-scale network environment.
