摘要
美国大学在国家创新系统的形成与发展过程中起到了非常关键的作用。回顾过去百年来美国创新系统的发展历程,我们可以看到大学研究是如何受到了产业部门的影响,美国大学的创新能力又是如何得到提升的。联邦资助、产业环境、创新政策等外部因素又是如何型塑着大学的研究与创新活动?进入21世纪,面对世界的剧烈变化,美国的创新政策又将着眼哪些方面?美国的大学又将如何作出变革?
The American universities have played a vital role in the development of national innovation system in the US.Through looking back to the US innovation system in the 20th century,this paper intends to examine how universities are influenced by the industry sectors and how the innovation capacities of American universities have been promoted. At the same time,how do the external factors such as federal investments,industry environment,and innovation policies shape the trends of university research and innovation activities? In the 21th century,what directions will American innovation policies be oriented towards? How will American universities respond to the changes?
