摘要
采用复合镀方法,以100/120目粒度的立方氮化硼(c BN)为基体,在镀液中添加工业用惰性粉体碳化物M进行电镀复合镀,获得表面长有刺状物的c BN产品,对镀覆后的产品进行SEM和TG-DTA表征。结果表明,复合镀后,c BN不但棱角及凸凹面长有镍刺,而且原来的平面镀层上长有瘤状物,粗糙度大大增加,镀覆后的c BN在464℃以下较原生料具有更好的热稳定性,在树脂基磨具中将会有更好的使用温度。还研究了在复合电镀Ni-M过程中M添加量对镀层形貌的影响,探讨了刺状产物的生长机理。
Composite electroplating method was successfully used to grow Ni spines on the surface of the100 /120 mesh c BN particles by adding a kind of industrial carbide inert M powder. SEM and TG-DTA techniques were employed to characterize the as-synthesized samples. The results show that there are not only Ni spines grown on the corner angles and the bumpy surface of c BN particles,but also some nodules grown on the flat surface after adding M. Roughness was greatly enhanced. Ni spines plated c BN grains show better thermal stability than the raw c BN under 464 ℃. Therefore,the c BN grains are more suitable for making resin bond abrasive tools. The effects of the additive amount of M on the coating morphology and the composite plating mechanism of Ni-M were also discussed.
