PDM是一种管理与产品相关的信息和过程的技术,它的应用能缩短产品设计周期,减少工程设计修改,加快产品投入市场进度,削减总成本。阐述了PDM的产生、发展历程及其未来发展趋势。
Product Date Management (PDM) is a kind of management technology of information and process related to products. Because of its application, the period of designing and revising project is shortened, and also the rate of products coming into the market is improved. As a result, total cost is decreased. This paper mainly discusses something about PDM, such as its application, development process and tendency as well as some new technology. It' s, to some extend, helpful for recognizing PDM and putting it into effect for reference.
