SSL加速卡发展历程分析

摘要 分析了传统SSL解决方案的缺陷,提出了目前全球最领先的SSL卸载方案,经过系统验证,它具有即插即用、高效、系统资源消耗低、实现代价小等优点。 SSL is the predominant method of securing Internet transactions over the World Wide Web (WWW). The increasing volume of SSL-encrypted traffic presents significant challenges to architects of Internet web sites and data centers as well as system designers of networking equipment. SSL is notorious for crippling web server performance;processing of its complex encryption algorithms presents a heavy load to general-purpose computing platforms and software. Specialized solutions such as SSL accelerator cards have emerged. This Paper analyzes the drawbacks of legacy SSL/TLS solutions based on cryptographic coprocessors and brings forward one-up ssl offload solution which is practically proved to be plug&play,efficient,low consumption of system resources and low realization cost.
