The paper introduces the necessity of computer local network and safe precaution system for intelligent residential quarter,analyses the demand of building equipment monitoring system,three meters' cost automatic calculating system,public broadcast system and video request system,and considers that the construction of intelligent residential quarter should be properly orientated to meet owners' actual requirements according to a series of factors such as con-struction scale,user condition,sale level,adjacent environment,auxiliary facilities and man a-gement demand.
