A method is presented for teachers together with students to construct the test question and template bases of training module, and a online test instrument for residual current operated protective device is given as an example of training subject. The characteristics of this research are combination of the training module development with laboratory construction and combination of the research process with student training. The established test question bases can be applied in comprehensive experiments, while the template bases come into being the foundation of subsequent developments .
