Shanxi urban residents' per capita disposable income has long been wandering at the end of the country's list, which is inconsistent with the economic development of the province. The most prominent is that the position of urban residents' per capita disposable income for Shanxi lags far behind that of its per capita GDP and per capita fiscal revenue on the national listing. It is, therefore, necessary to probe into the causes of that phenomenon through an analysis of the wage level for Shanxi urban residents in order to provide some reference for the policy adjustment to increase their income.
