摘要 新的视频压缩标准MPEG-4采纳了基于对象/模型的编码方法,但是对象的分割问题至今仍未得到满意的解决。本文介绍了视频运动对象分割技术的发展概况,重点讨论了其中的关键技术——运动对象的分割与跟踪,并指出一些需要深入研究的问题。 The new video compression standard MPEG-4 adopts object-based codec method. However, there are few satisfied solutions to object-based segmentation yet. This article summarizes the development of segmentation technologies based on moving objects in video. Emphasis is put on discussing the key technologiessegmentation and tracking based on moving object. Some prospective research directions are also given in the conclusion.
