摘要
大多数学者都认为 ,中国城镇化发展水平目前处于中级阶段 ,也有极个别学者认为中国城镇化水平尚处于初级阶段。从全国来看 ,中国城镇化发展水平应该是处于加速发展的中级阶段 ;从东部沿海地区和部分大城市来看 ,其城镇化水平已处于中级阶段 ,个别地区已跨入比较成熟的高级阶段 ;从西部地区和绝大部分农村地区来看 ,城镇化尚处于低速增长初级阶段。
Most scholars think that the urbanization level in China is now in an intermediate stage while individual scholars think that it is still in an elementary stage. From the nationwide angle, the urbanization level in China is in an intermediate stage with a quickening development; and from the angle of eastern coastal areas and partial big cities, its urbanization level has been in the intermediate stage, and some districts are in a mature advanced stage; but from the angle of western areas and the most of rural areas, its urbanization process is just in an elementary stage with a low-speed development.
