Some views on innovations in moral education in schools

改革开放促进我国经济社会发展,引起人们生活方式和分配方式的变化,出现了社会价值现念多元化局面。学校德育应通过创新来面对挑战。学校德育创新主要应强化德育在学校教育中的地位;理直气壮的弘扬社会主义的核心价值观念——集体主义;联系学生生活实施德育;采取活动化的实践模式来保证学校德育的正确方向,提高德育的针对性和实效性。

The country' s reform and open policy has fostered economic and social developments, brought about changes in people' s life style and the mode of wealth distribution, and induced the development of multi-lateral social values. These varied social values impose challenge to school moral education, and should be dealt with using innovative methods. Such innovations include strengthening the status of moral education in school education; justly and forcefully advocating collectivism, which is the value central to the socialist ideology; inducing moral education through association with students' life experience, and using an activity-based practical method. In this way, the direction of school moral education will be ensured, and the focus and practical nature of moral education will be enhanced.
