Through comparing the different construction methods of high-piers of Gaoyao Ⅰ Bridge in the Xia-Rong highway,it is considered that the construction method of cantilever wood formwork has better effect advantage such as low cost,safety and reliability,good forming effect of concrete strengths than turning over or sliding formwork method.The cantilever steel formwork system has the good advantage of light texture,reasonable structure,the higher degree of standardization,so it is one of the ideal methods of high-piers construction.
