Yu Guangzhong devotes much attention to 'flexibility, density and material', and the vast space of literary thoughts and magnanimous significance in his prose works. He expresses his feelings towards the nature by means of life-like portrayal language and develops his aesthetic manners with strong vitality, writing freely as much as he likes and bringing everything into bold relief through rich and colorful portrayal. He throws off the lethargy of 'small circle' in Chinese traditional prose by scholars. That is of peculiar aesthetic values.
