The Family is following the process of great changes that social structure undergoing as a social unity. The meaning of family comes into being obscurity. There are some differences between the family as the unity of analysis in researches of social science and that the people understand naturally in everyday life. After reviews the primary previous researches, the article redefine the family and correlative concepts based on the empirical principles in practice, and look forward its becoming an invitation to the reflection of family research.
