Thought on the Building and Developing of Special Library Portal

门户网站正在向专业化、细分化方向发展 .专业图书馆有得天独厚的优势从事学科门户网站的建设 .2 0 0 2年中国科学院数字图书馆启动了化学学科信息门户、数理学科信息门户、生命科学学科信息门户、资源与环境建设学科信息门户、图书馆情报学学科信息门户项目的建设 .生命科学图书馆承担了生命科学学科信息门户项目的建设任务 ,在建设过程中除了涉及到技术平台的建设 ,还涉及到信息采集标准的确定、信息源的确定、数据的加工、培训、质量管理等工作 .文中主要介绍了有关信息源的确定 ,信息选择策略的制定、信息组织加工及其管理方面的工作 。

Gateway to web site is developing in the direction of specialization and subdivision. Special Library is able to build science portal with librarians who have rich experiences in information collection and organization in the special field and abundant special collections. Chinese Science Digital Library of Chinese Academy of Science started building the Science Portal, the Chemical Science Portal, Physical Math Portal, the Resource and Environmental Sciences Information Portal, the Library Information Gateway and the Life Science Subject Information Portal in 2002. The Library for Life Science is in charge of the building of the Life Science Subject Information Portal. The project includes both building the technical platform and establishing standard for information collection, choosing policy of information sources, the way of information process and management of information quality etc. The development of special portal in the future is also discussed.
