摘要
A consensus is that, in patients with partial epilepsy, magnetic resonance ima ging is necessary to identify the underlying epileptogenic lesion, to determine the likely site of seizure onset, and contribute to the selection of appropriate candidates for epilepsy surgery. Despite variable protocols and a continuously evolving technology, a cautious analysis of available literature provides some g eneral guidelines for clinical practice.
