测绘已发展成为地理信息产业而成为信息产业的一个重要组成部分。摄影测量与遥感成为空间地理信息采集获取的最主要的技术手段。传统的测绘技术和手段已无法满足社会经济发展和各部门的需求,测绘部门要自觉地调整发展战略、及时地调整产业结构、尽快地引进新技术、新设备进行技术改造、实现摄影测量与遥感的数字化、自动化。

The industry of surveying and mapping has been developed into the one of GIS and has become a vital part of information in-dustry.Photogrammetry and RS have become the most main technical way of the collecting and getting of special geographic information.The traditional technology and way of surveying and mapping has been be-yond the needs of social economic development and all levels of de-partments.All departments of surveying and mapping must adjust their developing strategy consciously、their industry structure in time and intro-duce new technology、new equipment for the technical reform to realize the digitalization and automation of photogrammetry and RS.
