The Application of Relevance Theory in English Listening Teaching

摘要 关联理论对英语听力教学有重要的启示作用,通过探讨,提出扩大学生认知语境、选取合适的听力材料和引导学生寻找关联的英语听力教学策略。 This article is to adress the inspirations caused by Relevance Theory in English listening teaching.From the inspirations,three English listening teaching strategies are mentioned,which are expanding students' cognitive context,selecting the proper listening materials for students and guiding the students to track relevance.
