浅谈民办高校艺术专业大学英语教学问题

Probing into the English Teaching on Art Majors of Non-governmental High Education

民办高校大学英语教学,与普通文理科学生相比,艺术专业学生在学习基础和学习动机等方面存在明显的差异.教师教学效果不明显,学生收益甚小,教与学不相吻合.笔者通过几年来对民办高校艺术类学生的英语教学实践,针对该专业学生的实际情况、教师的教学方法、师生关系等进行初步探讨,并提出了一些建议.

There are several problems in English teaching in non-governmental high education nowadays. Comparing with the students in science majors, art majors are lack of studying motivation. The teachers can not get good result as expected, nor do the students. According to the practical experience on art students English teaching in non-governmental high education, the paper analyzes the real situation of art majors, teaching methodology, relationship between the students and teachers. Some advices are proposed in the paper.
