The Observation on Breeding-Characteristics of the Small Indian Civet

本文用九年的时间对小灵猫在发情、配种、妊娠、产仔和哺乳等方面观察了它们的行为、叫声、采食和对外界的反应，总结出小灵猫的繁殖习性和影响其繁殖的各种因素，旨在探索提高其繁殖率，为解决小灵猫在人工饲养条件下的正常繁殖难题找出一条切实可行的途径。

The observation of the estrous, copulation, gestation, birth and nursing of the small indian civet have been made in nine years. The test have ranged in it’s behaviour, sound, eating and it’s reaction to the outer environments. We try to summarize the civetls breeding-characteristics and the every factor which influences it’s propagate, and to explore the civet’s breeding rules, above all to find a practical way to resolve the problem of the wild-animal which can’t reproduce normaly in artificially feeding condition.
