Inverse Eigenvalue Problems of Tridiagonal Symmetric Positive Definite Matrices and Tridiagonal Symmetric M-Matrices

本文研究了由两个特征值和相应的特证向量构造三对角对称正定阵和三对角对称M阵等二类逆特征值问题,给出了这两类逆特征值问题有解的充要条件及通式。

In this paper, two kinds of inverse eigenvalue problems are studied which are the reconstruction of tridignal symmetric positive definite matrices and tridiagonal symmetric M-matrices by two eiggnvalues and corresponding eigenvectors. Some sufficient and necessarv conditions for existence of the solution of these problems and the general form of the solution are given.
