On Deng Xiaoping's Idea of Leadership

文章从三个方面论述了邓小平领导就是服务的思想。第一 ,“领导就是服务”是共产主义的人生价值观。第二 ,“领导就是服务”的具体表现是实现全国人民的共同富裕。第三 ,“领导就是服务”的评价标准是 :“是否有利于发展社会主义社会的生产力 ,是否有利于增强社会主义国家的综合国力 ,是否有利于提高人民的生活水平。

The article explicits Deng’s idea that “Leadership is service” from three aspects. Firstly, it is the value in life of communism; secondly, it is the embodyment of the goal of national joint happiness; and thirdly, its criteria are whether it can develop the productive forces of socialist society, whether it can strengthen the comprehensive national power of socialist society, whether it can promote the level of people’s life.
