Husband written by Shen Congwen is a piece of short story describing the special type of the people in western Hunan.This paper,in terms of human nature,analyses the process of the psychological changes of the "husband" on a boat for prostitution during one night and the following day:the process from ignorance to contradition and then to awareness.
