浅析五四前夕青年学生民族独立意识形成之原因

Initial Exploration to the Causes of Shaping National Independence Consciousness in the Young Students before the May 4th Movement

五四前夕,中国面临内忧外患,北洋政府政治腐败,日本侵略逐步加深。在新文化运动和俄国十月革命的影响下,青年学生形成了捍卫国家主权,争取民族独立的民族意识。而表明五四运动的爆发是该意识的集中体现。

On the eve of the May 4th Movement in 1919, China was confronted with domestic troub leandforeign invasion; political corruption of the North Warlord government and gradually intensifying of Japanese invasion. Wixh the influence of the New Culture Movement and the October Revolution(1917)a national consciousness emerged and rooted within the young students of safeguarding the national sovereignty and striving for the independence of the nation. The author tries to expound that the breakout of the May 4th movement was the focusing embodiment of this consciousness.
