摘要
自动交换光网络的概念一经提出即受到业界的广泛关注,运营商尤其对其寄予了厚望。本文首先概要地介绍了ASON的优点,然后重点论述了ASON的信令与路由功能,包括对它们的要求以及标准化工作。
Upon its emergence the concept of automatically switched optical network (ASON) has been widely attracting the industry. Especially, network operators and service providers expect to take advantages of it in market competition and business growth. After briefing the benefits ASON could offer , the paper emphasized on the signalling and routing functions of ASON, including the requirements to both of them and the further work in their standardization.
