认清形势,抓住机遇,为建设国际知名、国内一流的体育大学而奋斗——在武汉体育学院教职工大会上的讲话(摘要)

Clearly understanding the situation,seizing opportunities and building an internationally famous,national first-rate university of P.E.——A Speech at the Teaching and Administrative Staff Meeting of Wuhan Institute of P.E(Abstract)

遵循高等教育和体育事业发展规律 ,以江泽民同志“三个代表”的思想为指导 ,站在教育家的高度 ,代表武汉体育学院党委理论结合实际 ,总结回顾了过去的工作 ,提出和分析了我院存在的问题和今后的发展思路。即 :认清形势 ,把握大局 ,增强办学的危机感和发展的紧迫感 ;抓住机遇 ,加快发展 ,发扬“荜路蓝缕 ,以启山林”的精神 ,奋发图强 ,实施“四六一”工程 ,改变武汉体育学院面貌 ;改革管理体制和运行机制 ,增强我院发展活力 ;以教育为主体 ,以竞技训练为特色 ,确立正确发展途径 ;强化内部管理和加强思想政治工作以及党组织建设等 6个重大问题 ,并提出相应的科学对策和实施策略。

Following the laws of sports higher education and sports development,guided by Jiang Zemins ideology of “three represents”,the author reviews and analyzes the past and future of Wuhan Institute of P.E. on behalf of the Party Committee of Wuhan Institute of P.E. It is proposed that Wuhan Institute of P.E. should clearly understand the situation,seize the opportunities and quicken the development with the feeling of crisis of running the school and the feeling of urgency of development. With creative spirit,Wuhan Institute of P.E. should work hard for the prosperity of itself. “Plan of Reaching Six No.1 in Four Years” will be executed to change the face of the institute. Administrative system and operation mechanisms should be reformed to enliven the institute. Education should be the center with competitive training as the characteristics. Correct way of development should be established. Inner administration and ideological and moral education should be strengthened. The party organizations should be reinforced. Moreover,the author puts forth relative scientific countermeasures and methods.
