Study on MPEG -2Based Multiple Digit al Service Protocol Model

研究用MPEG-2承载广播网、通信网和计算机网的主要业务,分析了各主要业务的特点需求以及用MPEG-2承载多种业务的优势,提出了基于MPEG-2的业务协议模型和该业务模型在网络上实现的方法,最后陈述了模型应用中主要面临的挑战及解决办法。

This paper studies how to undertake t ypical services over broadcast netw ork,communica-tion network and computer network based on MPEG -2.We analyze the properties and requirements of the services and the advantages to undertake them with MPEG -2.And we propose a MPEG -2based services protocol and give relative approach es to implement it on networks.Finally we present some possible chal-lenges and relative solutions to them.
