Mobile wireless ad hoc networking is becoming a hot topic.A communication pattern,known as anycasting ,has recently been introduced within t he networking communication.This paper introduces the concept and several applic ations of anycasting in mobile ad hoc networks, illustrates how to provide such a capability through the use of anycasting routing techniques at network layer.
